  1. HOW CAN I PURCHASE A PRODUCT?
  • How to find products

There are various ways to find products on www.segafredoshop.it.

The easiest way is to navigate the site using the drop-down menus. You use the catalogue to search or look directly at ongoing promotions for that period.

If you are looking for a particular product, you can enter the keyword in the search box at the top right hand side.

Once you find the products page, use the filters at the top of the page to sort them by price.

 

  • How to purchase a product

Once you have found the product you wish to purchase, select the quantity and click on "Add to Basket".
You can then continue shopping, adding other products to your basket, or proceed to the checkout to complete your purchase.

Our checkout process is quick and easy.

After logging in, enter your billing details and the shipping address (only if the latter differs from the billing address).

  • How to pay for a product

Once you have entered the shipping address, you will be directed to the payment page where you can make pay securely using your credit card, Paypal or bank transfer. As soon as we receive your order we will send you an e-mail with a summary, after which we will proceed to prepare your items.

 

  • What information related to my order will I receive via e-mail?

After placing your order, will receive the following communications via e-mail:

- Order confirmation: This means that you have successfully placed your order. You should receive order confirmation within a few minutes of placing the order. .

- Order returned: If you initiated a returns procedure, and your returned order has reached our warehouse. After the necessary inspection, we will begin the refund procedure.

 

 2.     PAYMENT METHODS 

  • Which forms of payment are accepted?

You can pay for your online purchase by Credit Card, Paypal or Bank Transfer.

 

  • Where can I print the invoice for my order?

The invoice will be sent along with goods.

 

  • Do prices include VAT?

Our prices are inclusive of VAT.

 

 

3.  SHIPPING

  • To which countries can orders be shipped?

Orders can be shipped anywhere in the world.

 

  • What are the delivery times?

Segafredo undertakes to deliver products purchased online by clients within 30 days (in compliance with the provisions of Art. 54 of Italian Legislative Decree n°. 206 of 06/09/05).

Nonetheless, the Company also endeavours to ensure that products in stock in the warehouse are shipped within two working days of the order being received, availing of tried and trusted couriers.

 

  • What shipping charges apply?

Shipping charges vary from country to country and are based on the weight of products purchased. You can calculate the cost using the box "calculate shipping charges" available at the checkout stage.

 

  • Are shipments insured?

Yes, of course, all our shipments are insured.

 

  • Can I ask for my order to be shipped to a different address other than my own?

You can have the order shipped to a different address than the billing address (i.e. the order holder), as long as it is in the same country as the billing address. At the checkout you will be required to enter the shipping address, which may differ from the billing address.

 

  • Can I specify a day and/or time for delivery?

It is not possible to specify a delivery date and/or time. All shipments are made by courier, with deliveries carried out throughout the day depending on the individual courier's workload organisation, over which Segafredo has no control. You must, nonetheless, indicate a shipping address where someone will always be on hand to collect the parcel. If there is not always someone at home who can sign for the delivery at your home address, we advise you to indicate an alternative shipping address, for example a house with a concierge service, an office, etc.

 

  • What should I do if the courier found nobody at home at the time of delivery?

The courier will make 2 attempts at delivery, in the event nobody is home he/she will leave a delivery notification. After two unsuccessful attempts, the parcel will be kept in storage at the Courier's place of business for a few days before being returned to Segafredo's premises.

 

 4.     RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

 

  • Can I return the product I have purchased?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product as long as it is intact, has not been used and still has its original packaging and product card. If you purchased your product online, you can return it within 10 days of receiving the parcel and you will be refunded the full amount of the invoice for the product or products, minus shipping costs.

The right of withdrawal is regulated by law (Italian legislative decree number 185 of 22 May 1999). 
The consumer-customer (that is, a natural person who purchases the goods for purposes not related to his/her profession, making the purchase without indicating a VAT number) has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement for any reason. 
Segafredo shall in no way be liable for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured shipment. 

 

  • What are the conditions for returning goods?
      • - products must not have been used, worn or damaged
      • - products must be returned in their original packaging
      • - the right of withdrawal applies to products acquired in their entirety and not to parts or components thereof; in the case of purchase of a kit, all elements included in the kit must be returned
      • - if the products to be returned were purchased with a single order, they must be returned to the vendor in a single shipment, otherwise the company may not accept the return

 

  • In the case of a return, will I be refunded the shipping costs?

Shipping costs for returned goods and shipping costs for goods being returned will be borne by the client.

 

  • Can I exchange a product that I have purchased?

Unfortunately there is no provision for exchanging products purchased online. You must complete the returns procedure, at which point you can then proceed to purchase a new product.

 

  • What do I need to do to return a product?

The notice of withdrawal must be send by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or, within the same time frame, by telegram, telefax or e-mail to the following address:

Returned goods must be returned intact within 10 (ten) working days of receipt of said goods (the date indicated on the UPS consignment note delivered along with the goods will constitute proof of date) to the following address:

The purchaser is required to return the goods, in accordance with the above-stated procedure, CARRIAGE AND INSURANCE PAID. No cash on delivery or carriage forward shipments will be accepted.

 

No damaged goods will be accepted as returns, even if the damage is the result of inadequate packaging and/or carriers. In the case of simple returns, shipping costs will not be refunded. Shipments made using means other than those indicated or sent carriage forward will not be accepted. There is no provision for exchanging the item or items in the order for others.

Remember that returns can only be shipped from the country of origin of the order.

 

  • When will I be refunded for an online purchase that I subsequently returned?

Once we have received the returned goods and verified compliance with the returns procedure, we will send you an e-mail confirming acceptance of the return. The value date of the refund depends on the credit card company with which the payment was made, but is normally within a time frame of two bank statements.

In the event the Client originally chose to pay cash on delivery, on the returns form he/she must provide full details of a bank or post office account in their name so that the company can refund the price paid.

 

5.     SECURITY AND PRIVACY

 

  • Are my credit card details protected?

To offer you complete peace of mind, Segafredo utilises a “secure payment” system: your credit card details are protected since they are communicated directly to the bank. The details are then passed on to international authentication circuits which communicate the outcome of the transaction and confirm whether or not the payment has been made successfully. In this way, nobody apart from the credit institution handling the payment (Bankpass or Paypal) can gain access to your card details. In addition, protection is further strengthened by the use of the leading security system for data encryption, SSL3 (Secure Socket Layer) with the 128-bit Triple Des algorithm, a recognised security standard issued by Verisign.

 

  • What happens to my personal details?

Segafredo undertakes to ensure that your personal details remain secure and are not used improperly. For more information on the protection of your privacy, please consult the paragraph “Privacy Policy”
